The Dycon D2435-17 is a 5.0 Ampere switched-mode power supply designed to comply with and is certified to EN54-4 and the Construction Product Regulations (CPR). It offers exceptional flexibility with on-demand load sharing, enabling rapid and large-capacity battery charging for up to 2 x 12v 17Ah batteries.
This power supply is capable of providing extended standby duration at light loads or handling short high-current peak loads while diverting spare capacity to battery charging. Equipped with a constant-operation temperature sensor, the D2431 automatically adjusts the charging rate based on ambient temperature, preventing overcharging of batteries.
These units go beyond simple voltage readings and continuously monitor battery impedance, providing more accurate readings, early warning of potential issues, and ultimately extending battery life.
Remote data transmission
The Dycon D243X range of power supplies have an integral UART output to enable full remote transmission of all operational parameters, fault data and unit performance to a remote engineering centre, computer or smart phone.
